Five doors, all of them open.

Each programme is built to work on its own — and to work even better together. A girl who stays in school joins a skill batch at eighteen and runs her own unit by twenty-two. That is the whole idea.

01

Shikshan Setu

शिक्षण सेतू — शिक्षणाचा पूल

The cheapest intervention in a girl’s life is the one that keeps her in the classroom. We identify girls at risk of dropping out — usually after Class 7 — and remove whatever is pushing them out: fees, books, uniforms, exam forms, a bus pass, or a family that needs convincing.

  • School fee, uniform, stationery & exam-form support
  • After-school coaching for Class 8–10 girls
  • Adult literacy circles for mothers
  • Career & scholarship guidance after Class 10
Girls 10–18Year-roundFamily counselling

02

Kaushalya

कौशल्य प्रशिक्षण

Skill batches for women aged 18–45, run inside the community so that no one has to travel, pay for transport, or explain where she is going. Batches are small, taught in Marathi, and scheduled around household work.

  • Tailoring, cutting & garment finishing
  • Food processing — papad, masala, pickles, bakery
  • Beauty, wellness & mehendi
  • Digital basics: smartphone, UPI, online forms
  • Spoken confidence & basic bookkeeping

03

Swayam Udyog

स्वयं उद्योग — स्वावलंबनाकडे

A skill without a customer is a hobby. This programme picks up where training ends: forming self-help groups, opening bank accounts, linking women to government schemes, and getting the first order in the door.

  • Self-help group formation & savings discipline
  • Bank account, PAN, Udyam & scheme linkage
  • Seed support for machines and raw material
  • Packaging, pricing and labelling help
  • Exhibition stalls and local buyer connections

04

Arogya Sakhi

आरोग्य सखी

Health for women is still the most whispered-about subject in most homes. We run plain-spoken camps and sessions — no shame, no jargon — along with screening and referrals to the nearest government facility.

  • Menstrual health & hygiene sessions in schools
  • Anaemia and general health check-up camps
  • Maternal and infant nutrition guidance
  • Mental-health first aid and counselling referrals

Nyay Sakhi

न्याय सखी — हक्कांची जाणीव

Most women who come to us do not need a lawyer first. They need someone to explain, in Marathi, what the law already guarantees them — and then to walk beside them to the police station, the panchayat or the court if it comes to that.

  • Awareness on domestic violence, maintenance & property rights
  • Confidential counselling for women in distress
  • Accompaniment and referral to legal aid services
  • Workplace safety and POSH awareness sessions
